Good question. There are many F1 blogs out there and even though I was encouraged to start a blog, I spent a lot of time wondering what I would have to say that was different to all the others – especially because there are some fantastic ones out there!
Well, as it turns out I have a thing for numbers – I am a Mathematician and my day job is to analyse numbers. So the idea of this blog is to literally put two and two together and analyse the race from the statistics – because the numbers do not lie!
Hopefully this way you’ll get a fresh perspective on the Grands Prix you watch and we can REALLY find out who was fast, and whether the slow pokes were telling the truth about a bad set of tyres or not ;) Don’t worry about this blog being a bit “dry” in presentation – I have quite a mad sense of humour so I’ll promise to keep things light. But if you see something you don’t like, just let me know and I’ll take it on board. I would love to see comments and discussions here but please keep it clean!
Finally I hope you enjoy my blog and that you find it useful. I don’t know where this will lead to, but some clever bloke once said “It’s not about the destination – it’s the journey you take to get there” :)
